About The Gala
The Big Bark Gala is the signature fundraising event for Take Paws Rescue that brings together animal advocates, philanthropists, and community leaders for a night of celebration and impact. On November 15th from 6 to 10 p.m. at one of the most prestigious waterfront estates on Lakeshore Drive, guests will enjoy an evening hosted by Randi Rousseau, beloved WDSU News This Morning anchor and longtime friend to Take Paws Rescue, exquisite cuisine, craft cocktails, live entertainment, and inspiring stories of rescue and transformation - all in support of Take Paws Rescue's Mission. ​

This Gala is more than a celebration - it's a lifeline. Every dollar raised helps to fund our efforts and supports funding for more than $60,000 a month in medical bills, medications, supplies, and facilities for rescue dogs in need so that Take Paws can continue to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome at-risk dogs across the state of Louisiana.

Canine Couture Fashion Show
The night kicks off with our signature doggie fashion show, where dazzling models will strut the runway alongside Take Paws Rescue pups dressed to impress. The soundtrack? A custom mix from Casey of Everything Forever, New Orleans’ own DJ collective known for bringing joy to dance floors, parades, and parties across the city. After the show, keep your paws tapping — Everything Forever will keep the beats going all night long on the dance floor!
Aqua mob nola
Aqua Mob NOLA, the city’s first community-based water ballet troupe, will deliver a captivating and whimsical performance that blends movement, humor, and artistry in their signature theatrical style.
Puppy kissing booth
